About PickWise
PickWise exists for one reason: buying the wrong thing is expensive and annoying. We help you avoid it.
We’re an independent, reader-supported review site. We research, compare, and β where possible β test the products people actually buy for their homes, so you can decide with confidence instead of guessing.
Our focus: the best-value Chinese brands. Chinese manufacturers have built some of the best air purifiers in the world β same H13 True HEPA filtration, same CADR performance, often at a lower price. But most of the Chinese market’s top products (352, IAM, εδΈΊζΊι, ηΎη) are China-only. We focus on the brands that actually ship to overseas buyers β Xiaomi, Levoit β and give you the honest, no-nonsense reviews you need to buy with confidence.
What we believe
- Specs beat marketing. “Hospital-grade,” “whisper-quiet,” and “covers 1,500 sq ft” are claims. CADR, decibels, and filter costs are facts. We deal in facts first.
- Every product has flaws. A review that only praises isn’t a review β it’s an ad. We tell you what we don’t like about every product we cover.
- Price isn’t the whole story. A $90 purifier with $60/year filters can cost more than a $200 one with $40/year filters. We count total cost of ownership.
- Independence is non-negotiable. We don’t accept payment for placement. Ever.
How we’re funded
PickWise is supported by affiliate commissions. When you buy through our links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That’s how we keep the lights on β but it never changes what we write. Read our full disclosure.
